Marina is a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy. Her work involves using the body as a primary tool of communication. She created Moving with Marina, a social media platform and website to share her clinical experience from working in eating disorder and obsessive/compulsive disorder treatment and her research in body satisfaction, injury prevention and athletic identity. She channels all aspects of her work to destigmatize mental health through social media. Marina shares her life and love for movement with vulnerability in order to inspire others to do the same.
