Erica Bornstein

Prezenter

Erica Bornstein is a yoga and dance teacher and choreographer. She fell in love with yoga at a very young age when she was introduced to it as a way to stay in top dancer shape, and later in life discovered it was so much more than that. As an adult, she developed a regular yoga practice, and noticed that it brought her a sense of balance in her body and mind. Other physical activity became easier, and she approached difficult situations in life with a more open attitude. In recent years, Erica has incorporated a daily meditation practice into her routine, even if it just a few moments to breathe. She finds great value in taking time out of the day to pause especially when things are moving at a rapid pace all around her.

Jess Ray

Prezenter

Jess Ray is an E-500 RYT teaching creative strong soulful yoga in Los Angeles, New York City and Boston. After teaching for a few years Jess felt drawn towards the more quiet side of the practice. Most of her life was spent in competitive sports so moving her body was second nature but learning to sit with her thoughts and become curious about where they come from felt foreign. Inspired by her journey of self discovery and a deep desire to change thought patterns Jess began her meditation practice and instruction. Jess incorporates traditional and creative meditations into each class she teaches in an effort to lead others towards self discovery and empowerment.

Scoop Slyman

Prezenter

Scoop, a lifelong athlete with ADHD, turned to yoga to continue to move his body in a healthy way. The asanas attracted Scoop to the practice, however, the mindfulness component challenged him to continue on. Scoop begins every day with meditation and it is the part of his practice that he never misses. Just like playing sports or practicing asana, there are days where we feel great and there are days where sitting for twenty minutes seems impossible. that's why Scoop wants you to remember there's no bad meditation except the one you don't do!
