Which Brands is Colleen Hayes Supporting this Season?
As we celebrate the little moments this month, let’s not forget all those hours we sat in face masks, explored breathing exercises, tested our meditation limits and tried a variety of other self care routines during our months in isolation. As a guru of all things health and wellness, Prezence founder Colleen gets it. And I figured what better person to ask about top-tier self-care goodies and classes to gift (and to give myself) this holiday season.
What products did you discover in 2020?
Luna Facial Oil by Sunday Riley—it’s a retinol serum that’s amazing for hydration and anti-aging. Also, the YogaSleep Rohm sound machine. The sound machine is actually usually used for babies and little kids...my sister lent me her extra one and I can't sleep without it anymore!
What products can’t you live without?
My mug from Olives + Grace in the South End. Catie M. gave it to me as a gift for my birthday and I use it multiple times a day every day. Matcha, Coffee, Tea—you name it :-). Plus, I love shopping small businesses, so it’s an added bonus that it’s form a local place.
What brand(s) are you gifting to your friends and family this season?
This season I'm focusing on buying from small businesses where possible. Etsy has so many thoughtful gifts made by passionate creatives. I highly recommend checking out Urban Wellness' Ethical holiday gift guide, the gifts are stunning, plus they vary from eco-friendly to ethically crafted to BIPOC-owned brands.
Which brand has a great ethos/mission that you’re currently loving?
Viv for your V, they’re creating sustainable period care products. I love knowing that the products I use are good for the environment, too. Their subscription is great for a gift to yourself or a woman in your life!
What brand packaging and design do you love the most?
I am obsessed with Golde's branding! They make the most delicious (tasting and looking) superfood and self care products that are 100% natural and vegan-friendly (without losing an amazing taste along the way). Their matcha is my favorite!
Oh, and let's not forget to toss a Prezence subscription on that list! Check out the holiday sale that's happening for a limited time, and gift a year of meditations to someone in your life who's had a hectic 2020 (aka all of us).
